IBI Wins Pakistan Capacity Development Services Project
USAID/Pakistan awarded IBI a three-year contract for the Pakistan Capacity Development Services (PCDS) activity to provide services and technical support to the mission. The objective of PCDS is to improve the financial systems of local entities that receive USAID funding.
Many Pakistani institutions face weaknesses in their internal controls and financial management. This project will lessen the risks associated with working with these entities and will help to ensure that U.S. government resources are spent in a transparent, efficient, and effective manner.
IBI will provide management and organizational development, consulting, and technical assistance under this contract. IBI will conduct performance gap analysis, provide training, organize workshops and other learning events, and support change management. These services will be implemented on a national scale to support all geographic areas and development sectors where USAID/Pakistan works.
IBI previously supported work under the USAID-funded Pakistan Trade program, assessing women’s export potential, supporting an enabling environment to create business and trade opportunities, and working with USAID and other donor-funded initiatives to build the skills that enable women to take advantage of those opportunities. This program ended in 2014.
IBI looks forward to supporting USAID/Pakistan and it's programs, which focus on energy, economic growth and agriculture, stabilization, education, and health.
